BIYD WWU Premiere goes off

Last Friday DB Skimboards Premiered BIYD (believe in your dreams) for free on WWU's campus. The show packed the house with around 300 people turning out for the event. Guests were treated with free food, free screening of the video, and a rad raffle! Congrats to the local B-Hammers that walked away with skates and skims.

The night was filled with skim stoke, exciting games of skill, and an overall good vibe. Make sure to show your love to everyone who made it possible, so make sure to head into the WWU outdoor center and say Thanks! Then head down to WWS and pick up a DB skimboard, then go online and tell everyone about your last sesh at locust on skimboardculture.com!

DB Skimboards Austrailia, Thomas Jacobson, Get Wet

Check out the latest from the DB Skimboards crew in AUS. Tommy Jacobson just sent over his "Get Wet" teaser. He's been shooting all summer for this and we're stoked on the footy that he collected! Check it out and look out for more from Tommy in the near future.

BIYD, Free Premiere Tomorrow!

Come check out DB's latest and greatest skimboard movie. BIYD features 43 minutes of action packed skim action. The movie features many WWU students and many locations in Bellingham and all over the Pacific Northwest.

The Event is on Friday May 21st @ 7pm (doors will open around 6:45), Happening on WWU's campus in Bellingham WA, Multi Purpose Room. Get there early to partake in FREE food (Costco Pizza most likely), free DB goodies, photos with the stream monster and much more.

The festivities will start at 7pm and will include many semi-competitive challenges for swag (including a DB skimboard!).
We'll be doing a FREE raffle as well so everyone's got a chance to win!

Everything about this movie is free, the movie is rad, and you could win a skimboard! Why are you so lucky? You've got a great Outdoor Center, that's why! Make sure too say "thanks" next time you're there.

Forever Skim Magazine Issue #39 Out now!

Check out the new issue of Forever Skim Magazine. The new issues is packed (as always) with some of the best images and videos skimboarding has to offer. Although the magazine is primarily Ocean skimboarding, FSM is featuring content from multiple flatland contributors and is starting to have some great flatland media.

Lexi Hutchings St. George Skim Camp, May 22nd

DB Skimboards team rider Lexi Hutchings will be holding a 1-day skimboard camp Friday May 22nd. The Camp is from 9am-Noon and costs just $20. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to improve there skimboarding skills or just get a few tips from a seasoned pro. Bellingham Spring Skim Sessions

The weather has finnally warmed up enough to start skimming again here in Washington. The DB crew in Bellingham has taken the warm weather in stride and hit the beach for a few spring sessions. We've been getting a few requests for images of what the "specialty" foams look like so we decided to post some pictures...sorry for the less than stellar quality but they should give you a quick and dirty idea of what these colors look like:
