Chambers and BIYD Tacoma

Yesterday was a pretty busy day for everyone here at DB. Lexi Hutchings got into town Wednesday night around midnight and we were up the next morning for a session down at Chambers Creek. The Tacoma News Tribune wanted to do an article about the Dash Point Pro/Am (happening tommorrow June 26th!) so the boys (and Lexi) met up with the photographer to get some shots for the article.

Check out the article in today's paper or online here. The article that was chose was not-so flattering but we are stoked none-the-less to have some coverage for the comp.

After the Session the crew met up with the guys at the shop and got everything together for the Premiere of BIYD in Tacoma. Everyone was stoked on the video and most people walked away with some free gear from the raffle.

Blake Zimmerman, Dumas Bay, OFFICIAL VIDEO

Richard and Blake Zimmerman head out to Dumas Bay last Saturday to put down a few shots on the new DB camera rig. Although the boys only had about 40 minutes to film they got some sick shots! In HD! Addison and Lexi Shred St. George, UT

Check out DB team riders Addison Foote and Lexi Hutchings in a nicely shot and edited video featuring some new spots in St. George, UT. The temperatures have been hitting 100 degree's over there so there's no surprise that these two are out skimming.

Dash Point Pro/Am, Poster, Get Registered!

The Dash Point Pro/Am is coming up quick! June 26th is only 16 days away. There are four divisions to pick from and the top 4 in each division walk away with prizes (including skimboards and longboards!) and even cash (there's a cool $1000 purse for the pro division). Competitors all recieve a complimentary "competitors pack" complete with comp tee, wax, beverages, snacks, stickers and more! This is your chance to hit some super fun obstacles with some of the best skimboarders in the world so make sure to be there!

Last Sessions Up North

Many of our local DB team riders have been attending Western Washington University up in Bellingham WA. Since school is wrapping up most of them will be headed back south to Tacoma to work in the shop and teach skim camps. BIYD TACOMA! June 24th.

Come check out DB's latest and greatest skimboard movie. BIYD features 43 minutes of action packed skimboarding. The movie features Isaac Thomas, Emile Panerio, Bryce Hermansen, Tony Saddler, Richard Docter, Logan Davidson, Tim Mackey, Blake Zimmerman and Lexi Hutchings.

It's $8 to get in ($7 if you wear a DB tee). That eight bucks get's you one raffle ticket which enables you to win a smorgasbord of great prizes from DB Skimboards, DB Longboards, Northwest Snowboards, and Northwest Riders.

That means there will be Skimboards, Longboards, video's, and tons of apparel up for grabs! Some raffles will be pretty straight forward, others will pin movie goer vs movie goer in epic battles of skill!
