07 Dash Comp

The Dash Point skimboard competition went down yesterday and was a great success. The weather was a bit on the cold side but the competitors didnt let that slow them down and the level of riding was very high. All in all everyone seemed to have a good time. We'll post the results shortly.

Competition Weather Forecast

We were a bit worried for the comp but every day the forecast has gotten better and better! Looks like you won't need your winter jacket this year with temps reaching 70 and sun. It's always sunny at dash point so get ready for some fun. We've been building some really quality rails and jumps for the contest and I might be able to give a preview in a few days. We are looking forward to it, hope to see you there.

Protolights at Dash Point

The team has been seshing our wood skimboards a ton this season so we felt that it was time to give the new protolight skimboards a proper sesh. everyone adapted quickly to the ultralight feel of the boards and were surprised at how well they spun and popped compared to the 06 models. Both Bryce and Spencer landed multiple 540 shuv's, and spencer landed this shuv indy in the shallows at dash.

DBS' 4th Annual Skim Comp

Dashboards 4th Annual skim comp is back with a vengance! This year should be
even better than the last with riders from all over the west coast competing in
the first event of the season. Come kick summer off with an exciting day full
of skimboarding and fun at Dash Point State Park!

White Rock Sesh

Had a late skimboard session in White Rock this weekend. The tide wasnt too low but we still managed to have a good time! Thanks to the Breaknecks (www.breaknecks.net) for showing us the good spots!
