For the Moment Tacoma Premiere/DVD release

Our 08 Team video "For the Moment" will be Primereing May 1st 2008 at the Blue Mouse Theatre in Tacoma WA. Doors at 7pm and some other videos will be shown as well. We have a lot of big things planned for the primere and will be raffling(you get a free ticket with admission) away alot of free stuff as well! You dont want to miss it! Should be epic! We're Stoked! anyway... we've got another primere in Bellingham WA in the works as well. We want to get the video shown in your town so if you want to help us set up a primere let us know and we'll make it happen.

Northwest Riders 2008

Norhtwest Riders is a great Seattle company who we've been working with for the past couple of years. You may have met Greg or Zack at one of our competitions or seen the tree shaped logo cruising past you in the parking lot. Either way these guys have really supported our endeavors and we want to do the same for them! This is a great company and they've got some really cool looking shirts and hats this year(and it's all organic)!

WINTER UPDATE

Greetings from Bellingham! Here is DB Skimboards team rider Isaac Thomas on a mid winter (27 degree's Fahrenheit) day. Although it may be a bit too cold to hit the beach and skim, we have been logging many days at the hill (Snoqualmie Pass, Silverstar, Apex, Big White yada yada yada) and hopefully you have too (it's been a good snow year in the NW).

As for what we're doing, We've been busy. We've added a new engineer to our development team and are delving into some really exciting technologies. We don't want to spill the beans on the boards we've got going for 08 but you definitely might want to wait till the spring to get a new board!

On that note Our 07 stock is just about sold out! We have a few remaining medium streamlines up for grabs (with various foam colors) but other than that we are COMPLETELY OUT! Which is good, and we are stoked on all the riders who supported us last season.

ON THE HORIZON:

MARCH (well the end of the month anyway) :

- Launch dbskimboards.com 08 featuring all new media

- 08 Product line drops (get stoked)

- The DB skimboards Team Video "FOR THE MOMENT" teaser will be released: expect 540 shuvs, enormous gaps(combined with dangerous tricks), waves, Hippy jumping everything, Chambers, Dash, Canada, Sac, Utah, Cali, 4 wheelers, garbage cans, switch shiz etc. etc. Shot in 24p with some of the best cameras in the industry.

That's all we're going to tell you about for now. We'll try and post more often. Did we mention we have some really good artists doing really cool graphics this year? Well I'll save that for next time. We'll try and post some comp dates, movie premiere times and locations, and skim camp sessions next time as well.

Skimfest Article!

The skimming season has started to wind down as the weather quickly has changed. We're starting to make plans for next year with lots of new ideas, so we'll have to see what exactly we come up with. In the mean time, check out the recent issue of skimboarder magazine featuring an article on the Sacremento Skimfest, including a couple of sweet pics as you see below.
