Skim 2 Live: Fireside Skim Session

Skim 2 Live put on a skim benefit for Breast Cancer last week on the Texas A&M campus. The guys braved the cold temperatures and raised some dough for a great cause. Nice work guys! From www.skim2live.com : Ask anyone there and they will tell you this wasn't your typical skim session. This was Skim A&M's first event and it couldn't have gone any smoother. It was December 7th, 2011 and there was frost on the grass and roofs in the morning that the sun burnt off as the Boyer Skim Pit filled up with warm water from a water hose attached to a shower head nozzle. It was chilly in College Station, TX but there was hot chocolate provided by Quinn Hardwood Longboards, coffee provided by Muldoon's Coffee House, and thanks to Cameron Carter a fire to stay warm. At least 30 people showed up and in support of Skim2Live contributed $179 in merchandise sells! Skim2Live Lanyards were a hot item as this was their release onto the market. Be sure to check out pictures from the event as James Hoelscher came out to skim and took some great pictures!
